Go Kati runs its stores end-to-end on POSApt: kiosk to kitchen to counter

Discover how we helped maximize growth and operations.

Go Kati is a modern Indian street-food brand built around kati rolls, biryani bowls, momos, masala fries, and a strong chai culture — “street flavour on the go,” reimagined for a fast, contemporary format. POSApt is the technology behind every Go Kati counter: self-order kiosks, kitchen display screens, digital menu signage, integrated card payments, and online ordering all run on one connected platform, at both the Kogarah and Mascot stores.

Self-service kiosks that keep the queue moving

Go Kati runs POSApt self-order kiosks at both the counter and mounted on the wall, giving customers a fast “Start Order” flow straight into the same menu the kitchen sees. For a fast-casual, street-food format built around quick kati rolls and combos, the kiosk takes pressure off the counter during peak lunch and dinner rushes, letting customers order and pay at their own pace while staff focus on prep and service.

One kitchen display, every ticket in view

Orders from the kiosk, counter, and online all land on the same POSApt Kitchen Display System, sorted by type — takeaway, dine-in, table number — with combo items, modifiers, and timers shown clearly for the kitchen team. Whether it’s a Kati Combo with butter chicken kati and classic fries, or a Chai O’Clock with samosa and masala chai, the KDS keeps every order visible and organised from the moment it’s placed to the moment it’s handed over.

Digital signage that sells while customers queue

Above the counter, POSApt-powered digital signage runs Go Kati’s full menu — Fully Loaded Fries, Kati Rolls, Biryani, and the Midweek Street Deal — with pricing and promotions that update centrally rather than needing new printed boards. It’s an easy way to spotlight combos and deals to customers while they queue, and to keep pricing consistent across both stores without a manual reprint every time the menu changes.

Fast, secure, cashless payments

Go Kati runs as a fully cashless store, and POSApt’s integrated merchant terminals accept Amex, JCB, Mastercard, and Visa directly at the kiosk and counter. Because the payment terminal is integrated with the POS, the order total is sent straight to the card machine — no manual entry, fewer errors, and a faster tap-and-go checkout during busy periods.

Online ordering connected at both stores

Alongside in-store kiosks, POSApt powers Go Kati’s online ordering for both Kogarah and Mascot, each with its own store page and menu. Customers choose their nearest location and order directly from Go Kati rather than a third-party app, with orders flowing into the same POS and kitchen display used in-store — one system, one menu, one view of the business across both locations.

What the owner has to say

“We wanted every part of the store to run on one system — the kiosk, the kitchen screen, the menu boards, and how we take payment. With POSApt, all of that is connected. Customers order faster, the kitchen has a clear view of every ticket, and we can update pricing or promotions across the store from one place. As we open our second store, having it all already set up and working the same way makes expanding so much simpler.”

Looking ahead

Go Kati’s Kogarah store is open and trading on the full POSApt setup — kiosk, KDS, digital signage, merchant, and online ordering — with the Mascot location opening on the same platform. Rolling out on one connected system from day one means Go Kati can bring a second store online without rebuilding its ordering, kitchen, or payment setup from scratch.

POSApt provides POS, kiosks, KDS, digital signage, payments, and online ordering for hospitality venues.
